  • A poor stroller canopy is a deal breaker
  • Canopies that provide poor sun protection can cause babies to overheat, or toddlers to squint in the bright sunshine

image A good canopy should be:

  • be extra-large or over-sized: to provide full coverage and protection from the sun
  • be fully adjustable to several different positions: fully retractable for overcast days, and fully extendible for low evening levels of sun.
  • be individually adjustable for double strollers: so one child can shaded while sleeping, while the other can look around while awake.
  • come equipped with a moon-roof or peek-a-boo window. When the window is open, this allows you to look through the window and keep an eye on the kid without stopping the stroller.
